Properties:

White, highly dispersed amorphous powder or flocculent powder with a melting point of 1750°C. Insoluble in water and most acids, soluble in caustic soda and hydrofluoric acid. Resistant to high temperatures, non-decomposing, and non-combustible. Exhibits excellent electrical insulation, hygroscopicity, porosity, stability, reinforcement, thickening, and thixotropic properties. High purity, large specific surface area, strong adsorption capacity, and good dispersibility.

Application:

  • Widely used in over a dozen fields, including plastics, rubber, papermaking, coatings, dyes, cosmetics, and inks.

Functions as:

  • Reinforcing agent for natural and synthetic rubber

  • Filler for synthetic resins

  • Thickening agent for inks and coatings
